This Flash Drive Kit for the Med4 Elite control unit is a terrific addition to or replacement for the Flash Drive Kit that originally came with the Med4 Control Unit. Needed to hold, store and transfer files to and from the Med4 Elite System, the Flash Drive operates from a USB port in the back of the unit, just above the drain ports. To access the port, users need a Phillips screwdriver to remove the port cover. The Flash Drive downloads usage data from the Med4 Control Unit as well uploads system software updates. Please note, this is a Replacement Flash Drive Kit only. Wraps, control unit and all other Med4 and Game Ready accessories are available separately. Data downloads and software updates are easy and seamless as the GUI (Graphic User Interface) walks users through each step. For software updates, once the Flash Drive is inserted the system will display the software version currently running and the version to be updated. If the versions are the same, no update is needed and the Flash Drive can be removed. Following successful software updates, the system will prompt users to restart the unit. It is vital to keep the Med4 plugged in while using the Flash Drive. The GUI provides ongoing status information on the download or upload in progress. Only Game Ready USB Flash Drives will work with the Med4 Elite. If damage occurs while using a non-Game Ready Flash Drive, the warranty may be voided.
