Huang Qi, or Astragalus Root, is a sweet, warm herb, and is categorized as “tonify qi” herb in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Huang Qi from Treasure of the East is sourced from Gansu Province, a Dao Di region where the herb has been grown and cultivated for many centuries. Huang Qi is used in many TCM formulas for its strengthening and nourishing properties. Treasure of the East’s herbal extracts are full-spectrum, water-based extracts using only purified water that are concentrated 5:1 granules (100g/bottle).
Formula Principles: Supplements qi, secures the exterior, promotes urination, outthrusts toxin, expels pus, closes sores, engenders flesh.
Properties Sweet; warm.
Suggested Use: Huang Qi is generally taken as part of a balanced formula in conjunction with other herbs. Always follow your healthcare provider's instructions, as the dosage can vary based on your condition and response to treatment. Granules dissolve best in very hot water.
