Description

Many activities in modern daily living place the head in a detrimental forward head posture. The Apex Cervical Orthosis™ is an inexpensive and convenient tool to assist the healthcare professional in restoring a patient’s proper cervical posture. The Apex counters the negative forces caused by forward posture, and works to gently reverse kyphotic attitude when used daily under the supervision of a spinal professional.

Soft Comfort CorPaks™ are the perfect solution to help relieve strains, sprains, headaches and other soft tissue injuries. These versatile packs can be cooled in the freezer for acute care to help control swelling and blood flow.

Our soft, frost-free pack is gentle on skin and does not need to be wrapped in a towel. Soft Comfort CorPaks have more fill than traditional packs to retain cold longer. Long-lasting, reusable and filled with nontoxic, biodegradable fill.

Use & Care

Instructions for Use:

This product must be used under the supervision of a health care professional.

Place patient in supine position on a firm surface. Locate the Apex in the area of lordotic loss. The larger angled surface should face the patient’s shoulders. To adjust to the height, carefully remove sections by completing cut along the scored lines. Use for an initial treatment of 2 minutes. Increase each daily treatment in 1 minute intervals, with a maximum treatment time of 20 minutes.

Train patient to roll off of the Apex before sitting up post treatment. Some soreness or stiffness is normal, and our cold therapy CorPak should be applied to the affected area for 15 minutes after each treatment. (CorPak sold separately)

Instructions for Use - Soft Comfort Pack

Use hot or cold. For convenient cold therapy, store in freezer. For heat therapy, place pack in microwave and heat for 30 seconds. Continue heating at 10 second intervals until desired temperature is reached. Knead pack after each heating interval.

CAUTION: Microwave power levels vary. Overheating may cause injury.

WARNING: Do not sit on or place excess weight on pack.
