The Altus Pro System is a true low air loss mattress system suitable for medium and high risk pressure ulcer treatment and 24 hour pressure area care. It has been designed to reduce interface pressure and aid in the treatment and prevention of pressure ulcers/sores; specifically patients with visible pressure ulcers/sores falling under Stages II-IV. The mattress and blower system automatically maintain four different pressure zones to reduce the incidence of pressure ulcers while optimizing patient comfort (softer head and heal sections, and firmer torso and leg sections). Ideal for improving circulation, lowering body temperature and promoting a dryer environment. Great for nursing home, long term care and home care settings as prescribed by a physician. Mattress Features: 20 rows of 10" nylon/PU cells Provides a continuous pressure relief environment while helping to reduce body temperature and moisture by allowing air to diffuse and circulate through the laser holes of the mattress surface. Mattress base has an integrated loop bridge to hold the air cells in place. Snap cell design allows for easy replacement of individual cell.
