This Baseline Caliper Calibration Block is used to ensure the accuracy of the readings from both the Skinfold Caliper and the Skinfold Caliper Deluxe. A caliper is used to measure the thickness of skinfolds which is then translated to body fat content as a percentage of body weight. Please note, this is the calibration block only. The Caliper is available separately. Ensures accuracy of measurements from 10mm ? 50mm. "Floating tips" on the Caliper assure accurate and reproducible results. The Caliper is quick and simple to use. Just take three measurements at each skinfold site and average these readings. That number is the final thickness.
