The Comfy Boot is the ideal AFO to help prevent plantar flexion contractures, control hip rotation, assist with wound care, prevent pressure areas, relieve foot drop and support structures. It is often used for bedridden patients to prevent heal pressure sores. The heel is elevated by the contours of the boot and the anti-rotation bar can be used to control hip and leg rotation. Treated with Antimicrobial surface protector to shield against mold and mildew, stains, bacteria fungus and algae. The super soft headliner cover is removable and machine washable (free laundry bag included). The added strap provides extra protection to prevent plantar flexion, and ankle strap secures to prevent flexion. Same great features as our therapist-loved Comfy Boots, now with extra support! Comes with extender kit to accommodate for wider or edematous feet. Extend toe post to accommodate most foot sizes. The adult size fits 8" to 13" (till Men's 16 shoe size) with calf circumference up to 16".
