The original "Swede-O" ankle brace is the #1 choice for ankle protection! The dual eyelets create a "pulley" effect to give you greater leverage so you can lace the brace tighter for a more effective "Ankle Lok". Stainless steel spiral stays are sewn into the medial and lateral sides of the brace for support. The Ankle Lok's removable side stabilizers offer additional support for weak or injured ankles. Instructions For Use:

Wear this brace over a clean, dry athletic sock.

Pull brace over the foot like a sock.
Lace the bottom two eyelets comfortably tight. Continue lacing up the brace through both panels. Do not skip any eyelets. IMPORTANT – When lacing the middle eyelets, firmly tighten laces for most effective support. Finish lacing up the brace with the top eyelets comfortably tight.
With the brace completely laced, check the distance (amount of tongue showing) between the inner side panels. If this space is wider than 1.5 inches the brace may be too small. If the space is less than .5 inches, the brace may be too large.

Side Stabilizers: The included side stabilizers are an optional feature and may be used for additional ankle support. To install, prior to lacing the brace, insert the stabilizers between the inner and outer panels on each side of the brace with the top of the stabilizer captured in the pocket at the top of the brace.
Replace brace every year to ensure proper support.

Washing Instructions:

Hand wash with cold water and mild soap (no chlorine additives) and hang to dry (do not machine dry).
