The Whitehall Mobile Whirlpool is a terrific tool for the treatment and prevention of sports injuries. The larger design, which is suitable for treating today's larger athletes, provides coverage and offers recuperative and healing therapy of the extremities, hips and back area, making this tub a favorite among professional, college and high school athletic trainers as well as clinicians and physical therapists. The tank has a capacity to hold 110 gallons, more than most standard tubs. Generously sized at 56"L x 24"W x 25"D, the tub features seamless welded construction fabricated from heavy gauge, type 304 stainless steel. The tank rim is reinforced with a concealed stainless-steel rod and the tank bottom is seamless and rounded. The turbine, which features a device to be raises and lowered, holds a half HP jet pump motor protected with an ABS plastic shell. The height and direction of the water agitation can also be adjusted. A thermometer is also provided with a dual scale and adjustable calibration. The seamless, rounded design of the tank bottom enables effective cleaning to help minimize bacteria buildup. Thermometer stem inserts into a retainer to prevent rattle when the whirlpool jet is engaged. Tank is also provided with an extended stainless-steel skirt flush to the floor line to conceal internal drain piping. All parts contacting the water are stainless steel, chrome plated brass or bronze. Cleaning is recommended at least once a week, if not more often. It's recommended a sponge, soft cloth or a soft-bristle brush is used along with a mild soap and water solution.
