Gastro Pro™ utilizes a unique combination of studied botanicals to provide nutrients necessary to support a health gastrointestinal (GI) tract‡:
Mastic gum
Deglycyrrhizinated licorice (DGL) root extract
Neem leaf powder
Colostrum
Mastic is a tree from which people have used the sap (resin) from the trunk to make medicine. Mastic has been used for stomach and intestinal issues, and to help reduce stomach acid to protect the lining of the stomach and intestines.‡
Deglycyrrhizinated licorice root extract, or DGL, is used for various digestive system complaints including heartburn, colic, ulcers, and other maladies affecting the stomach lining.‡
The neem tree, native to India, has been called “the village pharmacy” since so many of its parts have been used for medicinal purposes in Ayurvedic medicine. The leaves have been historically used for digestive problems, intestinal parasites and other issues.‡
Colostrum is a milky fluid that comes from the breasts of humans, cows, and other mammals the first few days after giving birth, before true milk appears. It contains proteins, carbohydrates, fats, vitamins, minerals, and proteins (antibodies) that fight disease-causing agents such as bacteria and viruses. Colostrum can support a healthy immune response to gastrointestinal issues such as diarrhea.‡
